Day 1

Once you’ve arrived, drop your bags off at one of Buena Park’s many comfortable hotels. After getting settled, revel in dinner and a show by visiting Medieval Times, an immersive dining experience filled with brave nights on horseback and epic swordfights. After you’ve loaded up on carbs, it’s time to burn them off by walking through the gates of California’s First Theme Park, Knott’s Berry Farm. Day 3

If you’re looking for a slower paced day, head to Heroes Hall at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, a free museum that celebrates veterans in the area through curated exhibits, performances, and educational programs. Another great option is to visit Orange County’s largest museum, Bower’s, which celebrates the various cultures that call Southern California home, where veterans can enter for free on Veteran’s Day.

On your way back to Buena Park, don’t forget to stop for some grub. Rock & Brews offers classic American comfort food in a Rock & Roll setting.
