Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
In 1926, Walter Knott created the Boysenberry - a hybrid of the Loganberry, blackberry and raspberry. He began selling his new creation at his roadside fruit stand in Buena Park which eventually grew to a restaurant and later, America’s first theme park – Knott’s Berry Farm. Knott's honors their storied past during their Annual Boysenberry Festival running the month of April. The jam packed event features live entertainment, interactive experiences and over 70 boysenberry creations including delicious barbeque, mouth-watering desserts, refreshing beverages and the popular Fun Bun.

Yelp’s #1 Restaurant Opens
Porto’s Bakery & Café has officially opened its doors to their Buena Park location! The world-famous bakery serves up delectable pastries, savory Cuban sandwiches, specialty beverages and their popular potato balls. The family-owned business still uses many of the original recipes that they brought with them from Cuba in 1963. With a rich Southern California history, the Buena Park location is one of just four locations and the only one in Orange County. Click Here to learn why millions of visitors come to experience their Cuban creations each year.

Enjoy the Tastes of Mexico at La Huasteca
Inspired by the La Huasteca region of Southern Mexico, this newly opened restaurant brings authentic Mexican cuisine to Buena Park. Studying the food served in Mexico’s countryside pueblos, their talented chefs put a modern twist on some of the area’s most popular dishes. Visitors will find flavorful street tacos using homemade tortillas, fresh caught seafood, slow simmered soups, fresh salads and a wide selection of entrees perfectly crafted with local ingredients.
