A Laid Back Getaway in Buena Park

Buena Park is a city that can accommodate many types of vacationers, including those who are simply looking for a place to getaway and take it easy. We’ve put together our itinerary for a Laid Back Weekend in Buena Park.
1) Beach Boulevard Club
Buena Park's newest hot spot is the Beach Boulevard Club featuring dueling pianos, elegant cocktails and delicious bites. Step through the entrance of this classy cocktail lounge and get transported to the prohibition days of the 1920s. As you mix and mingle with your friends, enjoy the smooth soundtrack of the club’s talented pianists.

2) Boisseranc Park
The lush 20 acre Boisseranc Park is the perfect place for a quiet picnic, game of basketball, tennis match or seasonal event. During the third week of October, the park is transformed to Silverado Days with unique food booths, dozens of carnival rides and games. In the summer catch a live free concert every Wednesday during June and July.

3) Buena Park Downtown Mall
The Buena Park Downtown Mall offers 1.2 million square feet of affordable shopping options, restaurants and entertainment. Find favorites like DSW Shoes, jump off the walls at Big Air Trampoline Park, indulge in the all-you-can-eat buffet at John's Incredible Pizza and catch the latest blockbuster at the Krikorian Metroplex Buena Park.

4) Buena Park Farmers Market
The Buena Park Farmers Market runs year-round every Saturday from 9am to 2pm. They offer everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to flowers and leather goods. Arrive early to get the best produce and food items! There is plenty of parking around the market at the Buena Park Downtown Mall.

5) Historic District Tours
Travel back in time by touring the Buena Park Historic District featuring several preserved buildings from the 1800’s. The Whitaker-Jaynes House serves as Buena Park's local history museum; the Bacon House is one the oldest surviving structures in Orange County as well as the Stage Stop Hotel.

6) CGV Cinemas
Experience the biggest Hollywood and Asian blockbusters like never before in CGV Cinema's unique 4DX theaters. Enjoy cutting-edge sound, immersive viewing technology, seats that move with the action and special effects including rain, scents and smoke.

7) Knott's Independence Hall
Walter Knott's personal labor of love, Knott’s Independence Hall is the nation's only exact replica of the Philadelphia landmark. The free exhibit allows visitors to explore a replica of the Liberty Bell, view presidential artifacts and hear the forefathers discuss the Declaration of Independence.

8) Olympic Golf Zone
Olympic Golf Zone is a one-of-a-kind experience that combines state-of-the-art technology and sports. Grab a group of friends and a round of cold drinks before hitting the course for 18 holes of digital golf on some of the world’s most famous courses or hit one out of the park in the interactive batting cages.

Nestled at the foot of Coyote Hills, Ralph B. Clark Regional Center offers over 104 acres of diverse activities.
