Buena Park's Best Burgers

There's nothing that quite hits the spot like a perfectly grilled burger. Buena Park is full of spots to get your burger fix from joints that serve up traditional cheeseburgers to plant-based burgers with every topping under the sun. Order it up just the way you want it!

Burger at burger monster in Buena Park, CA
Burger Monster—This food truck with a cult following is setting up shop in Grange Hall 39 and we could not be more thrilled. If you want your potatoes ON your burger, then go for the Attack of the Killer Potato. The Angus burger at Burger Monster is topped with hash browns, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and melted cheddar. Homemade BBQ and sriracha sauce give it just the tangy kick you were looking for.

IHOP—IHOP's Ultimate Steak burgers are always a favorite. For a breakfast burger option here, go for the Big Brunch Burger. You'll get hickory-smoked bacon, a fried egg, crispy potatoes and signature IHOP sauce. The new Garlic Butter Burger brings you West Coast garlic butter goodness, white cheddar cheese, bacon and veggies all in one bite.

Burger and fries at Rock and Brews in Buena Park, CA

Rock & Brews—Rock out while you dine on craft burgers served on brioche buns like the Gastropub Burger at Rock & Brews. This behemoth is topped with double-melted Swiss cheese, bacon caramelized onions, a sunny-side up egg, garlic aioli, and greens. The Smokehouse Burger comes at you with BBQ sauce, cheddar, an onion ring, bacon, and pickles. Just say "yes."

Fatburger—How hungry are you? Are you medium hungry or XXXL hungry? Fatburger has all the size options with hand-pressed, never frozen meat as the star. Get your burger with scratch-made onion rings and a hand-scooped milkshake. You'll go home happy.

Burger, fries, and beer at TGI Friday in Buena Park, CA

R Burgers—Burgers and shakes are the name of the game at R Burger. The El Caliente Burger is the only logical choice when the heat is on as you'll get spicy house dressing, grilled jalapenos, and fresh guacamole to top it off. The traditional R Burger comes with the three favorite burger toppings: bacon, avocado and cheese. Yes, yes, and yes.

TGI Friday's—This classic favorite just outside of Knott's Berry Farm has a number of over-the-top burgers to choose from after a day in the California sun. The brand-new Loaded Cheese Fry Burger at TGI Friday's is just what you imagine it to be and more. Your burger gets topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles before it takes a walk on the wild side with the addition of loaded bacon-cheese fries and a skewered loaded potato skin. This might be one to share.

Burger, fries, and drink at In-n-out in Buena Park, CA

The Habit Burger Grill—This award-winning joint serves up their original charburger the way you like it with toppings like portabella mushrooms, avocado, and caramelized onions. The Teriyaki Charburger at The Habit Burger Grill is a solid option with teriyaki sauce and grilled pineapple providing a taste of the islands.

In-N-Out Burger—There's only a few options on the menu at In-N-Out, which is why in-the-know burger addicts go for strictly off-menu options like the Animal-Style Burger. You'll get the standard cheeseburger that's grilled with mustard and topped with extra spread (aka Thousand Island dressing), pickles, and grilled onions.

Burger, beer, and fries at Sizzler in Buena Park, CA

Chili's Grill and Bar—Make sure you are hungry when you order the Big Mouth Burgers at Chili's as they start with a half-pound burger patty and just go up from there. Chili's Chili Burger is a classic (but messy) combo of their original 1975 chili, shredded cheese, sautéed onions, and tortilla strips. Spice it up with the Queso Burger that comes smothered in white queso, tortilla strips and pico.

Sizzler—You can't go wrong with the Mega Bacon Burger, a Sizzler menu favorite with crisp-fried bacon loaded high and a side of crispy French fries.

Burger and fries at Black Bear Diner in Buena Park, CA

Portillo's Hot Dogs—Just because the hot dog is in the name here at Portillo's doesn't mean that you should skip the burgers. The char-broiled burgers on the double cheeseburger are cooked perfectly thin with just the right amount of cheese and veggies.

Black Bear Diner—Named after the restaurant's founder, Bob's Big Bear Burger tops the menu with a 10-ounce all-beef patty served with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and Thousand Island dressing. Another favorite Black Bear Diner is the Parmesan Sourdough Burger that is served on thick-cut sourdough and topped with Swiss cheese, tomato, and grilled onion.

Burger at Farmers Boy in Buena Park, CA

Farmer Boys—The burgers at Farmer Boys are always fresh and cooked to order just to your liking. If spicy is your preference, go for the Barn Burner. This fire-grilled burger is topped with spicy jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and fiery farmer's sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Claim Jumper—Craft burgers are a menu favorite at Claim Jumper with the Bacon Mac Burger topping the list. You'll get bacon mac n' cheese along with traditional toppings of lettuce, tomato, and pickles plus the side of your choice. Or go meatless and opt for the plant-based Impossible Burger that just might fool even the most devoted meat eater.

Avocado burger and onion rings at Pauls Place in Buena Park, CA

Denny's—You can't go wrong with the Bourbon Bacon Burger at Denny's as it comes to you topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, fire-roasted bell peppers, sautéed onions, and bourbon sauce. If you can't decide between breakfast and dinner, opt for the Slamburger that is topped with hash browns, an egg, bacon and American cheese.

Paul's Place—Go Cali-style with your burger at Paul's Place where you can get everyone's favorite, the Avocado Burger or go all out and try the pastrami-topped Colossal Burger. Both are epic choices, guaranteed.
