In the hit Disney movie National Treasure, Nicholas Cage’s character hunts for a pair of spectacles hidden by Ben Franklin. His adventure leads him to Independence Hall where he finds them hidden behind a brick stamped with the masonic symbol. The multi-colored spectacles are used to help decode a hidden message on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Due to the historic value of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the scene was shot at Knott’s Independence Hall, a brick-by-brick replica of the original.
