Knott’s Berry Farm’s 'Adventures in Education' is truly a showcase of opportunities for students to be enlightened about the world
around them in a fun and captivating way. The programs are designed as themed tours and are tied to school curricula at appropriate grades.

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Buena Park lights up the Dark Ages for students! Medieval Times hosts more than 50,000 students annually at its educational matinees. The 90-minute presentation includes topics such as the political structure of the feudal society, cultural traditions and changes in Western society, the Crusades, warfare and tournaments, conflict between Christians and Moslems in Spain and the expulsion of Jews and Moslems from Spain in 1492. Set against the backdrop of the pageantry of a realistic medieval tournament, the important historical perspectives spring to life and give enthusiastic students a unique and insightful perspective on this rich chapter of the world’s history. Many of Southern California’s famous attractions are within an hour’s drive, such as Universal Studios Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, and Venice Beach, to name a few. There are great options for educational components to student tours within easy reach, such as the Discovery Science Center and Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Richard Nixon Library, Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, The Getty Museum, and historic Olvera Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
