Meetings That Take Your Breath Away
When it comes to choosing a destination for your next meeting or event, nothing beats the benefit of firsthand experience. Whether you are a group of 10 or 1000, let the destination experts at the Buena Park Convention and Visitors Bureau help you design a seamless program or itinerary.
Location, Location, Location
Buena Park is not only a great destination but a terrific jumping off point-a gateway-to entertainment possibilities throughout Southern California. Buena Park is a mere nine minutes away from Disneyland and sporting events, 15 minutes away from premier shopping, 20 minutes away pristine beaches and airports, and 40 minutes away from Los Angeles.
Transportation
Buena Parks hotels, attractions, and restaurants are all within walking distance of each other. Most hotels also operate complimentary shuttles to all local attractions, Disneyland Park, and Buena Park Downtown. Scheduled sightseeing tour buses serve many other tourism attractions in Southern California such as Hollywood and San Diego. Buena Park is also served by Metrolink, a commuter train system that links several Orange County cities with Union Station in Los Angeles.
Meeting Space
Buena Park offers over 50,000 square feet of meeting space citywide with facilities at Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel, Holiday Inn, and Radisson Suites, and board rooms at Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites.
Restaurants
Buena Park has been cited as having one of the most diverse eating and dining scenes in Southern California. Consider that not only does the city feature such quintessentially American restaurants as Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner, Portillos-the Chicago icon known for its hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches-and L.A.'s legendary Pink's Hot Dogs, it has a vibrant restaurant scene noted for its wide variety of cuisines.
Off-site Venues and Themed Parties
Buena Park cannot be beat when it comes to entertainment and offsite events. Knott's Berry Farm, Americas 1st Theme Park, offers visitors 160 acres of rides, live shows, and unique attractions.
At Pirates Dinner Adventure, guests time-travel back to the 1800's when pirates ruled the high seas. The show features an astonishing display of special effects wizardry, amazing aerial artistry, and dynamic duels. Groups up to 750 are seated around the floating Spanish galleon, where they dine on a sumptuous feast.
Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament welcomes meeting attendees to their 11th century castle. Guests feast on a delicious four-course meal and watch dangerous swordfights and an authentic jousting tournament.
New to the scene is Torch, an Indian-Asian fusion restaurant and bar housed in the building once home to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Given the size of the venue-8,460-square-feet--Torch figures not only to be a feast for the pallet but one for the eyes as well.
